1. About these terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply to the PortAura desktop application (the "Software") and its official website (the "Website"). By downloading, installing, or using the Software, you agree to these Terms.

2. Who we are

PortAura is the product/brand name of the Software and this Website. The Software is developed and maintained by the individual developer Yan Li (the "Developer"). Contact the Developer for questions about features and technical support; contact Paddle for questions about payments, invoices, and refunds (see Section 4).

3. Software license

Upon purchasing PortAura Pro, the Developer grants you a perpetual, non-transferable license to install and use the full functionality of the Software on one macOS device that belongs to you.
You may not reverse engineer or decompile the Software, or redistribute, sell, or rent it, without the Developer's prior written consent.
The Software is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Developer is not liable for any direct or indirect losses arising from your use of the Software. The Software performs read-only inspection only — it never changes your network configuration or stops any application.

Payments and refunds: Payments for PortAura are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited ("Paddle") acting as Merchant of Record. Paddle is your seller and the issuer of your receipt, and is responsible for taxes, invoicing, refunds, and buyer support. These Terms therefore do not create payment terms that conflict with Paddle's buyer terms. See the Refund Policy page.

4. Payment and taxes

When you purchase PortAura Pro (one-time license, ¥38), the order, payment collection, applicable taxes, and receipt are handled by Paddle as Merchant of Record in accordance with applicable law. The final price you see is the one shown on the Paddle checkout page.

5. Privacy

All inspections performed by the Software happen on your machine. Your scan data is never uploaded, and the Software contains no analytics, tracking, or account system. See the Privacy Policy.

6. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The Software is intended to help you view and understand local network port and process state. It is not a network security product and does not guarantee detection of every listening port or connection. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Developer is not liable for any indirect damages, loss of profits, or loss of data.

7. Changes to these terms

The Developer may revise these Terms as the Software is updated and will publish changes on this page, noting the updated date. Continued use of the Software constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
